Remote Sensing for Material Identification under Space Umbrella

Abstract

The objective of the Remote Sensing for Material Identifications effort was to improve the understanding of the Foreign Aerospace Science and Technology Center (FASTC) in the exploitation of multispectral data. A one-week multispectral exploitation course, with emphasis on material identification, was prepared and conducted at ERIM's Ann Arbor facilities. Follow-up consultation and support focused on a study to determine how current and planned ERIM multispectral exploitation software tools, with emphasis on change detection, could be migrated to planned FASTC systems.
