Laser Physics and Laser Techniques

Abstract

Progress in research on laser physics and laser techniques is summarized, including work on laser resonators and laser resonator and optical beam software; new techniques for laser beam characterization and laser beam quality measurement; the generation of ultrashort optical pulses in the infrared; and measurement of a fundamental excess quantum noise effect in ultrastable laser oscillators.
