CAIP Neural Network Workshop Held in Piscataway, New Jersey in November 1990

Abstract

In November 1990, the CAIP Center of Rutgers University organized and hosted a workshop on Neural Networks. The workshop attracted over 120 leaders in the field from the United States and abroad. The goal of the workshop was to assess the current state-of-the-art Neural Network architecture and algorithms and to consider the most promising directions for further research in this rapidly developing field. A book was printed as an outgrowth of the workshop and constitutes a collection of some of the important papers presented and discussed.
