Evolution of Ammonia from Type ASC Whetlerite

Abstract

The evolution of ammonia from untreated whetlerite and from whetlerite with hydrogen cyanide and cyanogen chloride was measured. Test results show that ammonia is probably a by-product of the decomposition reaction. Activated charcoal Whetlerite Adsorption Cyanogen chloride Hydrogen cyanide.
