Polyphosphazenes Bearing Polymerizable Pyrrole, Thiophene and Furan Side Groups: Synthesis and Chemical Oxidation

Abstract

The synthesis and chemical oxidation of linear poly(organophosphazenes) that bear polymerizable, heterocyclic side groups is described. The polymers were prepared for use as precursors to electronically conductive materials.
