Abstract

A draft is presented of the first eight sections of a Plan for Corporate Information Management for the Department of Defense. The document has portions yet to be completed and existing sections may be reassessed; it is intended to be a living plan that will be updated and refined as needed. The preface contains a model of corporate information management, describing the elements involved and their relationships. An understanding of this model is important to the understanding of the plan itself.
