Implementing Total Quality Leadership in a Naval Computer and Telecommunications Activity
Abstract
The way that Total Quality Leadership (TQL) is implemented is unique to each command implementing it because it must be tailored to the command. However, some types of problems and pitfalls are more common than others. This thesis presents a case study of the implementation of TQL at one Naval Computer and Telecommunications Activity based on personal interview and command documentation. The implementation of TQL at this command is compared with a change process modal and analyzed against it. Recommendations for corrections and alternative courses of action are provided.
