Evaluation of the Prototype Position Data Analysis Job Aid (PDAT-JA)

Abstract

The Position Data Analysis Job Aid (PDAT-JA) software is a product research accomplished during earlier phases of the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) restructuring research and development program conducted by the U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (ARI). The software, released for demonstration in December 1990, automates much of the position data analysis process performed during MOS restructuring. This report (1) provides a synopsis of the development of PDAT-JA, (2) defines the role of the software in the MOS research and development program, and (3) provides the results of the operational evaluation of the prototype software.
