Blackboard Architectures for Multi-Agent Planning.

Abstract

This report describes investigations into the application of Distributed DataLog (DDL) multi-agent planning domains. The DDL is a distributed extension to the Prolog language. The blackboard architecture is examined as a potential representation to support the DDL as an execution model. Additionally, there are discussions regarding the nature of AND- and OR- parallelism as well as the ramifications of employing the blackboard model in KB planning domains.
