Correlation for Non-Linear Infrared Calibration Curves

Abstract

An analytical expression has been identified which can be used to correlate absorbance versus concentration for gas phase infrared monitors. This expression can be used to correlate both positive and negative deviations from Beer's Law. Calibration data for several vapors has been measured. Correlation of this data provided a good fit over a wide range of concentration and absorbance. Correlation, Infrared analyzer, Beer's law deviations.
