Update of the U.S. Army Research Institute's Longitudinal Research Data Base of Enlisted Personnel

Abstract

This document describes the procedures used to augment the Enlisted Personnel Research Data Base (EPRDB). The EPRDB consists of longitudinal records that contain both personnel data and selected career history for soldiers who enlisted in the Army between 1974 and 1990. It is composed of two data sets, a 25 % sample of accessions from 1974 to 1984 and a 100 % sample of accessions from 1985 to 1990.
