Analysis, Modeling, and Signal Detection for a Set of Passive Sonar Data

Abstract

A computational evaluation of a set of single-hydrophone passive sonar data is summarized. Included are results on signal detection, statistical characterization (especially normality vs. non-normality), and fits to a mixture-of-normals distribution.
