Enlisted Personnel Allocation System Field Test Report

Abstract

The U.S. Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (ARI), with the assistance of the General Research Corporation, undertook a project to modernize and improve the way the Army determines an individual's initial-entry Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). The project developed the Enlisted Personnel Allocation System (EPAS). This report documents the results of the field test of EPAS. The primary objectives of the field test were verification of the conversion to, and operability on, the Army's Information Services Command-Pentagon (ISC-P) computer.
