Two Beam Funnel Experiment: Final Design Review

Abstract

The major objective of the TBF experiment plan is to demonstrate increased beam brightness from funneling beam from two separate accelerators. Other objectives are to evaluate contribution to emittance growth due to the RF deflector, to evaluate effects of rebunching on control of emittance growth and to evaluate use of stripline position and phase detectors for use in automatic control of funnel parameters.
