A Bibliography of Externally Published Works by the SEI Engineering Techniques Program

Abstract

This bibliography lists works by the members of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Engineering Techniques Program that are not published or available from the SEI. The bibliography is organized by type of work (i.e., journal or magazine article, books in part or in whole, and works in proceedings). Within each of these categories, the bibliography is organized alphabetically by primary author. Each entry contains the name(s) of the author(s), title of the work, targeted audience (Manager, Practitioner, or Educator), and publication information. Where available, abstracts also are included. The primary focus of the Engineering Techniques Program is tools and methods that operate on and within the software process to control and improve it. Some of the subjects that are addressed in the works listed are as follows: CASE tools, adoption, and integration; code inspection; computing research and direction; configuration management; domain analysis; domain-specific architectures; integrated software process environments (IPSEs); interactive video, multi-media, and virtual reality; model-based engineering; programming languages; reuse; software architectures; software engineering as a discipline; software engineering education; software engineering environment integration. Indexes are provided by author and targeted audience.
