Carrier Landing Parameters from Survey 45, Fleet and Training Command Aircraft Landing Aboard USS ENTERPRISE CVN-65 (Appendices B Through R)

Abstract

A photographic landing loads survey which recorded both day and night carrier landing operations, was performed aboard the USS Enterprise CVN-65 operating off the west coast of the United States. Over 900 day and 500 night landings of various fleet carrier aircraft were recorded and analyzed. Statistical distributions of landing parameters were generated. An additional 1000 day landings of Training Command Aircraft are included in this report.
