Business Re-Engineering: Lessons Learned From the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Modernization Program

Abstract

This study reports the lessons learned from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineering (USACE) Modernization Program. USACE has developed a proven methodology for successfully modernizing information systems. Its experience provides some valuable guidelines for agencies wishing to pursue a successful organization-wide process to deploy information systems.
