Two Species Previously Confused Under the Concept of Sabethes Tarsopus in Central America (Diptera: Culicidae)

Abstract

Sabethes gymnothorax new species is separated from Sabethes tarsopus, and the adults, fourth-instar larva and pupa of both species are described and illustrated. Bionomic and taxonomic information is provided.
