Report of the Sea Ice Thickness Workshop Held in New Carrollton, Maryland on 19-21 November 1991

Abstract

The workshop emphasis was on the three questions: what is the current distribution of sea ice thickness? what mechanical and thermal processes determine the thickness distribution? and what are the techniques for measuring ice thickness? As understanding of these fundamental issues improves, so will our ability to address the many related topics.
