Abstract

This bibliographic report contains a listing of open literature publications and military laboratory technical reports published from 1961 to 1992 by personnel of the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM), Natick, Massachusetts, USARIEM's work involves occupational, environmental and preventive medicine research oriented to preserving the health and performance of military personnel in training and combat. Works cited variously include physiological, biological, biomedical, behavioral, psychological, nutritional, and epidemiological research, conducted to define soldier stressors and to devise and evaluate countermeasures. This report lists results of over 35 years of basic and applied biomedical science, laboratory and field studies, published books, book chapters, procedural and doctrinal position papers, technical reports, etc.
