Preparation for Analysis of Data from the Langmuir Probe Instrument on the CRRES Satellite

Abstract

The Langmuir Probe/Electric Field Experiment was designed, built, and flown on the CRRES satellite to obtain high quality measurements of plasma density, electric fields, and waves in the inner magnetosphere. A data reduction and display program was written and initial results were reported. The spacecraft failed after more than one year of successful data collection.
