Department of Defense Companies Participating in the Department of Defense Subcontracting Program Fiscal Year 1992

Abstract

This report presents a variety of subcontract data collected from Department of Defense (DoD) large business firms that have received at least one award in excess of $500,000 ($1,000,000 for construction). Public Law 95-507 requires that these contractors establish a small business and small disadvantaged business subcontracting program and report to DoD quarterly, using Standard Form 295, on subcontract awards made to these types of firms. Table II- 1 shows the dollar amounts and percent distribution of awards from DoD contractors to large, small, and small disadvantaged businesses for fiscal year 1992 and fiscal year 1991. Table II-2 summarizes DoD subcontracting program commitments, while Tables II-3 and II-4 summarize small and small disadvantaged business subcontracting goals and achievements for fiscal year 1992. Table II-5 summarizes DoD subcontracting Program awards by the reporting organization's location, which may or may not be the place of performance. Only those locations for which data were reported are displayed. The U.S. Territory Total line contains the cumulative amounts for all the U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, etc.) reported as one entity. During the current reporting period two awards were entered in this line and both reporting organizations are located in Puerto Rico.
