IR and FIR Laser Diagnostics for Plasma Thrusters Using a CW CO2 Radiation Source.

Abstract

This research involves diagnostic studies of plasma thrusters. This effort will use the new, high resolution diagnostic techniques that will determine electron densities, local magnetic fields, and density fluctuations indicating anomalous transport.
