Firemaid: User's Manual,

Abstract

This document forms the instruction manual for the computer based fire management training aid, called FIREMAID. FIREMAID is a graphics based, interactive ship fire fighting simulator, which can be based on a range of naval ships. The program was developed to be used in the training of naval personnel, specifically damage control officers, in the correct procedures of fighting ship fires including management of crew and equipment. FIREMAID was written in the computer language C to run on the Commodore Amiga range of computers.
