Naval Shipboard Non-Tactical ADP Program (SNAP) Automated Medical System (SAMS) Computer Assisted Medical Diagnosis (CAMD) Module System/Subsystem Specification

Abstract

Medical Care Aboard U.S. submarine and small surface ships is rendered by specifically trained independent Duty Corpsmen. To provide these corpsmen with important diagnostic and treatment information during a deployment a Computer Assisted Medical Diagnosis (CAMD) module has been conceived. System specification for this module has been developed to outline the plan for implementing the functions defined in the Functional Description.
