Light Cavalry Regiment Evaluation
Abstract
The Light Cavalry Regiment (LCR) evaluation was a study conducted by the Combined Arms Analysis Directorate of the TRADOC Analysis Command. This document is the final report for the LCR evaluation. The LCR evaluation was a follow-on to the Air Ground Motorized Cavalry (AGMC) evaluation. AGMC was an investigation into the appropriate force structure and equipment for a 2004 LCR. Upon receiving the results of AGMC, the Commander of the Combined Arms Command requested a study to evaluate the LCR equipped with current day (1992) equipment. The evaluation provided analytic insights on combinations of HMMWVs, M113s, M3s, and LAV25s in various roles within the light cavalry....
