Nature of Cirrus

Abstract

Software to extract IRAS-LRS spectra for any desired sky direction from the raw LRS data has been made. An exportable software system that allows to access, calibrate and process all IRAS data is available. It combines GIPSY (Groningen Image Processing System) and the GEISHA (Groningen Exportable Infrared Survey High-Resolution Analysis) system into one easily transportable user friendly system. All IRAS data are stored on a jukebox of optical disks. The whole system can remotely be accessed through e-mail at SRON-Groningen or can be used interactively.... IRAS-LRS, Cirrus, GIPSY, GEISHA.
