A New Subgenus of CULEX in the Neotropical Region (Diptera: Culicidae)

Abstract

Phenacomyia, a new subgenus in the Neotropical Region, is separated and distinguished from the subgenus Culex. Additions to published keys are included for its identification among the subgenera of Culex in the New World.
