Abstract
In order to supply the armed forces with adequate support in the field of qualification/classification of explosive substances and munition, the TNO-Prins Maurits Laboratory (TNO-PML) performed a research assignment in which a number of preliminary activities were executed in the field mentioned above. The activities were carried out in the period June 1991 June 1992. First, an overview is made of the relevant STANAG's and AOP's. The contents of these documents and their logical relations are roughly described in this. Furthermore, an inventory is made of the tests for qualification/classification which can be executed at the TNO-PML. Recommendations are made to arrive at a procedure for qualification of an explosive substance.... Classification, Explosives, Propellants, Ammunition, Tests.
