Completed in 1939, Lock and Dam 14 has deteriorated due to weathering action and wear in over 50 years of service. Maintenance of the facilities is needed to retain operating, performance, and reliability characteristics similar to their original design. The proposed activity involves a variety of work such as concrete removal and replacement, steel work, sandblasting, painting, mechanical equipment replacement, and electrical replacement.
