Deposit Insurance: A Strategy for Reform.

Abstract

This report discusses issues associated with reforming the deposit insurance system. It was prepared pursuant to section 1103 of the Financial Institutions Reforms, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989 (P.L. 101-73). In conformance with act's requirement, this report discusses changes to the deposit insurance system that will promote a safe, sound, and stable banking industry.
