Summary of United States of America Treaty Verification Research and Development Program

Abstract

Since 1989,the United States has pursued a Treaty Verification Research and Development Program relating to the Objectives of the Chemical Weapons Convention. This report provides a summary of the United States program, a compilation of results relating to inspection activities, personnel, Equipment and capability gaps, and a listing of relevant United States reports. Because the United States Treaty Verification Research and Development Program is ongoing, the results and suggestions offered here should be viewed as a current status report, which may change with future research.
