Giftige Verbrandingsprodukten van Branders in Gebruik bij de Koninklijke Marine (Toxic Oxidation Products from Burners Used by the Royal Netherlands Navy).

Abstract

The chemical composition of the combustion products of a burner that is used by the personnel of the Royal Dutch Navy during training was determined. The following compounds were sampled and analysed: carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, aldehydes, organic vapours, organic acids, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide and particulates. Based upon the emissions of the various compounds the dilution ventilation to maintain occupational quality standards were calculated. The ventilation in a tent measured with the aid of a tracergas was of the same order of magnitude.... Chemical composition, Combustion products, Emissions, Burners, Environmental hygiene.
