Abstract

The purpose of this report is to measure the amount and type of recreation used in the Upper Mississippi River system. Geographically, the study includes the commercially navigable portions of five rivers: the Mississippi (North of Cairo, IL), Illinois River, the St. Croix River, Minnesota River and Kaskaskia River.
