The Optical Response of a Double Quantum Well Driven by Two Lasers: Localization and Low Frequency Generation

Abstract

We study the time evolution of the dipole induced by two lasers acting on an electron confined to a double quantum well, for th case when the laser frequencies are closed to each other. The two fields can localize the electron or force it to emit intense low frequency radiation.
