Nonparametric Statistics: Weighted Rankings Analysis

Abstract

We examine the credibility hypothesis associated with the method of Weighted Rankings Analysis. We consider a multivariate test for homogeneity based on all nearest neighbors. We extend exact tables for Spearman's footrule by using a Markov chain structure over the permutation group of 1,...,n. We prove the asymptotic permutational normality of certain weighted measures of correlation. Weighted rankings analysis, Weighted rank correlation, Testing equality of two distributions based on nearest neighbors.
