Abstract
Research on nonlinear acoustics has been carded out during the 12- month period ending 30 September 1992. Progress is reported on the following projects: (1) Propagation in a periodic waveguide; (2) Scattering of sound by sound; (3) Finite-amplitude waves in a three-layer fluid; (4) Finite-amplitude waves in a medium having a distribution of relaxation processes; and, (5) Propagation of an isolated negative-pressure pulse in water....
