Department of Defense Hazardous Chemical Warning Labeling System

Abstract

This Handbook establishes a standard label format and uniform labeling system throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) for identifying hazardous materials used by DoD personnel. It also provides an additional training resource to help DoD comply with the training and worker information requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Hazard Communication Standard.
