Kuwait Ammunition Temperature Monitoring Program, Summer 1992.

Abstract

The U.S. Army Defense Ammunition Center and School (USADACS), Validation Engineering Division (SMCAC-DEV), was tasked by U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), Predictive Technology Branch, to monitor ammunition stored inside Military Vans (MILVANs) in Kuwait during the summer of 1992. This test was a continuation of ARDEC, Predictive Technology Branch, surveillance program to ensure long-term reliability of fielded ammunition. The following report contains test results of selected ammunition monitored from July - September 1992.
