Grounds Management Cost Reduction Strategies

Abstract

A recent Quality Air Force initiative by HQ Air Force Civil Engineering Support Agency uncovered numerous ideas for cost-savings in the grounds management area. The final report on this project contains 74 ideas from Air Force personnel, seven proposals from other service agencies, and summation of 16 published articles. With the current trend of less funding, it is appropriate for grounds managers to consider new ideas for reducing labor, material, and equipment cost....
