Applications of the Program UIFLOW-2D to the Numerical Simulation of Axisymmetric flows

Abstract

The computer program UIFLOW-2D has been applied to the numerical simulation of turbulent axisymmetric flows. In a preliminary test of the performance of the program it has been used to simulate four different types of flows, isothermal and reactive, with and without swirl. Numerical results are discussed and compared with published experimental data. Recommendations are made for future development and application to gas turbine combustors.
