Abstract

These proceedings provide summaries of the papers presented at the semiannual meeting of the Coastal Engineering Research Board (CERB). Also included are discussions of CERB business, recommendations for research and development by CERB members, and public comment. Some of the topics included: (1) An overview of the supertank laboratory data collection project; (2) A first look at the supertank hydrodynamic data; (3) HURRICANE BOB Report; (4) Capping experiences under the disposal area monitoring system (DAMOS) program; (5) Fate of dredged material placed offshore; and (6) Effects of inlet dredging projects on adjacent shorelines.
