Abstract

This thesis is a series of case studies that explore a wide variety of management issues and problems encountered in a Navy medical treatment facility. Management issues covered include: decision making and problem solving, creating and communicating a vision, managing change, empowering subordinates, implementing Total Quality Leadership, conflict management, and leadership during times of crisis and uncertainty.
