Leave and Liberty.

Abstract

Leave and Liberty (a) DoD Directive 1327.5, to establish policies for leave, liberty (pass), and administrative absences that shall: (1) Be consistent with the uniformity required of the Armed Forces by 10 U.S.C. 704 (reference (b)). (2) Provide respite from the work environment in ways that shall contribute to improved performance and increased motivation. (3) Ensure maximum use of earned leave, minimize the loss of leave, and reduce to the maximum extent the costs of payments for unused accrued leave.
