Half-Staffing of the National Flag

Abstract

The purpose of this Instruction is to amplify Presidential Proclamation 3044 of 1 March 1954 with regard to the Department of Defense. That Proclamation directs display of the flag of the United States at half-staff upon the death of certain officials and former officials.
