Joint DoD Committee on Fitness

Abstract

This Directive: Established the Joint DoD Committee on Fitness for the uniformed members of the armed forces. Consistent with reference (a) DoD directive 1308.1, formalizes the functions and responsibilities of the committee in regard to the coordination and futherance of fitness programs within the Military Services.
