Guidance for Manpower Programs

Abstract

In accordance with reference (a) DoD Directive 1100.2, 20 August 1953, subj: 'Preparation, Evaluation and Administration of Manpower Programs,' the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Manpower and Personnel) will issue each fiscal year guidance to be used by the Services in the preparation and administration of their manpower programs and will review such programs, military and civilian. This guidance will include the strengths to be used for programming and such detailed information, policies, and instructions as are pertinent to the fiscal year program under development.
