Fuel-Resistant Pavement Sealers. Users Guide

Abstract

The user guide provides the technical information required to implement application of fuel-resistant pavement sealers to asphalt concrete. Included are details on areas of application, benefits/advantages, limitations/ disadvantages, and costs associated with this technology. Information on two demonstration sites at Fort Rucker and Fort Belvoir is provided. Also provided is information concerning funding, procurement, maintenance, and performance monitoring. A summary of the demonstrations, fact sheets on the five sealers used during these demonstrations, and a reference are provided in the appendices.
