Crime and Security Risk: Background Information for Security Personnel

Abstract

This study of crime and security risk provides information relevant to investigative procedures and adjudication standards. It is prepared as background information for policy makers, adjudicators, investigators, and researchers. Information is included on the prevalence of various crimes and on the frequent inadequacy of criminal history records checked during security investigations.
