Abstract

This Instruction; reissues reference (a) DoD Directive 1338.10, to update terminology and to establish policy for the Department of Defense Food Service Program; implementation reference, (b) Title 10, United States, Code, Sections 4561, 6081-6985, and 9561, and (c), Executive Order 11399, Delegating Certain Authority of the President With Regard to Army and Air Force Rations, establishes the objectives and assigns responsibilities for carrying out the Department of Defense Food Service Program.
